Catherine Badford is a pebble artist who lives in the shadow of the Mournes in Katesbridge. Catherine has always lost herself in creativity and over the years has developed a passion for her natural surroundings, appreciating how nature grasps the landscape and sculpts everything in its path.
Catherine’s work focuses purely on natural materials sourced from the local environment, with emphasis solely on pebbles. Every pebble used in her artwork has travelled thousands of miles, over millions of years, to rest in the area surrounding the Mourne Mountains.
